For over 20 years, we have been providing training workshops on the main tests related to real estate.
Our two following training activities are accredited by the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) in the specialized content category.
Main soil tests in real estate – 3 hr and 3 CEUs
- Pyrite
- Environmental assessments (phases I-II-III, removal of heating oil tanks, etc.)
- Geotechnical studies (soil bearing capacity, slope stability, etc.)
- Iron ochre (ocher deposits)
Main air and materials testing in real estate – 3 hr et 3 CEUs
- Asbestos
- Vermiculite
- Mold
- UFFI
- Radon

Our training activities my also be given in French.
These interactive training activities discuss the relevance of these tests and their practicality for real estate transactions (reliability, turnaround times, costs, marketing tactics, risks, impact on value, etc.). We also conduct an overview of applicable laws, regulations, protocols and analysis. The primary goal is to provide all the technical, statistical, legal, health and safety information you need to properly advise your clients.
Since 2013, we have been providing regular training to the members of the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB), which was formerly known as the Greater Montréal Real Estate Board (GMREB), at the QPAREB’s request. We have also provided training to several building inspection associations such as the Quebec Association of Building Inspectors (AIBQ), the National Building Inspectors and Experts Association (NBIEA) and InterNACHI-Québec.
OACIQ accreditation and training cost
As we incur administrative expenses towards OACIQ for each CEU granted to its members, here is the cost of training based on the number of participants:

Finally, please note that if you would like to take advantage of these trainings, but do not need CEUs, we can offer them at an even lower cost, sometimes even free.
